I almost missed this little milestone I was so busy trying to come up with something.

Fortunately, I noticed, and I hope you noticed too.

Once again, I've been practising with collages cut up from old magazine ads and my own doodles.

Here we go again.

A couple more collages made from images clipped from old magazine ads and other pics, coupled with parts of my own automatic drawings, and then I manipulate the hell out of them.

I have a feeling I shall be busy with the scissors for the foreseeable future.

Processes And Choice...

Sometimes it takes a number of iterations before I settle on the image I want to display for you all, and they can end up looking considerably different from each other between one idea and the next.

I've come down with a stinking cold over the last couple of days and it's given me weird ideas and disrupted fever dreams, which is where this thing came from. Enjoy.

Flying The Flag...

A sequence of images taken on a walk a few nights ago

As I was returning from a walk, where I had been trying to capture some good sizz images, I spotted this length of commercial pallet wrap caught in the branches of a tree.

The nearby streetlamp, and the blustering wind made it dance around in a really appealing way, so of course, I had to try to capture the moment, and let loose a burst of shots over a couple of seconds to get this neat dancing plastic wrapping as it twirled in the breeze.
